Role Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Golang.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Build and integrate APIs to enhance application functionality.
Implement unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability issues.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis.
Engage in continuous learning and adopt new technologies that can enhance productivity.
Work closely with the DevOps team to manage deployments and infrastructure.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Maintain clear documentation of application functionalities and workflows.
Contribute to architecture and design decisions, providing insight into best coding practices.
Assist in mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for operational incidents.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Golang developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Go programming language and its frameworks.
Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud services.
Knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A passion for technology and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
