Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary:

The Threat and Vulnerability Lead will oversee the identification, analysis, and mitigation of cyber threats and vulnerabilities within the organization’s infrastructure to join our esteemed global clients.

Location: Sydney, Australia

Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).

Key Responsibilities:

Threat Intelligence and Monitoring:

• Monitor and analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors using various tools and intelligence feeds.
• Lead the threat-hunting activities to detect potential compromises proactively.
• Collaborate with SOC teams for seamless integration of threat intelligence into incident management.

Vulnerability Management:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive vulnerability management program.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and application teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Incident Response and Management:

• Provide technical leadership in response to critical incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate tabletop exercises and simulations to ensure preparedness against cyber threats.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance:

• Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.) and industry best practices.
• Track KPIs and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and executive leadership.
