We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Game Tester to join our newly formed Performance Playtesting Team. In this role, you will contribute to delivering a top-tier gaming experience while promoting a fair and competitive environment for players of all skill levels.

Responsibilities


  • Perform playtesting activities across multiple game titles, including test-case-focused evaluations and exploratory testing
  • Set up consoles and mobile devices for playtesting sessions
  • Learn and apply the tools required for completing daily tasks
  • Report discovered defects
  • Complete playtesting questionnaires


Requirements


  • Gaming experience as an active player of multiple titles, genres, and platforms
  • Proficiency in PC/Windows
  • Discretion with the capability to comply with rules for handling protected client information
  • Flexibility to attend planned weekend overtime shifts, once per quarter
  • Work from office with a start time of 9-9:30 AM (UTC -04)
  • A2+ level in written English and B1 level in spoken English


Nice to have


  • Background in game testing, including A/B playtesting or functional testing
  • Understanding of functional testing fundamentals, such as theory, processes, and tools
  • Familiarity with logging bugs using Jira
