Grounds & Maintenance Technician

As a Grounds & Maintenance Technician, you'll maintain outdoor spaces, perform seasonal upkeep and handle minor repairs. You'll also inspect plumbing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper maintenance, reporting major repairs as needed.

Your daily tasks will be

• Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaping (mowing, edging, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and pest control).
• Perform seasonal upkeep (spring/summer planting, fall leaf removal, winter snow/ice clearing).
• Inspect and maintain building exteriors, clean gutters, and manage pest control.
• Maintain walkways, driveways, and parking lots (sweeping, pressure washing, clearing debris).
• Ensure proper storage and organization of maintenance tools and supplies.
• Perform minor outdoor repairs (benches, fences) and assist with event setup/teardown.
• Report damage, hazards, or major repair needs to the direct manager and coordinate specialized repairs.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep plumbing systems functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Have an overview of ongoing Jira tasks.
