Responsibilities:

• Develop/implement/direct the company's information security strategy.
• Establish/manage/direct the local IT infrastructure, including setting up servers and systems.
• Manage relationships with regulators to ensure compliance with requirements. Create security policies aligned with local market and regulatory standards.
• Direct the global IT team, providing technical leadership and strategic direction with local market requirements
• Develop systematic approaches for risk management and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the technology infrastructure.
• Prepare reports for upper management and other departments to ensure effective communication.
• Maintain constant communication with all teams in Turkey to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Manage relationships with local vendors to ensure service quality and performance.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in information security and IT management.
• Strong knowledge of regulations (e.g., GDPR, KVKK) and industry standards.
• In-depth knowledge of network, system, and application security.
• Project management skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to connect effectively with both technical and business units.
• Fluency in Turkish and English
• Experience with custody solutions and digital wallets.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its applications in financial services.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
