Controller is a modern reporting, budgeting and forecasting solution which offers excellent visual views for all Netvisor users. Netvisor is the leading platform for financial management, accounting, billing and worktime management in the Finnish market. We have over 100 experts working with Netvisor product development in different roles.

What to expect when you join us?

We are looking for an experienced developer to take part in the development of the Netvisor Controller product, which is built on .NET framework with React frontend. The team is small but effective, and supported by designers, infra engineers, and architects.

Our developers play a key role in the modernization and continuous development of our products. We value responsibility and freedom, so our teams make a lot of important and independent product development related decisions in their daily work. Our culture is very sparring and encouraging and we share our knowledge. Teamwork is important to us - we believe that several people often solve bigger challenges faster than one.

Our hopes for our new colleague

In order to succeed in this role, you should have a few years of experience in fullstack development in the following areas:

• Proficiency in some object-oriented programming language (C#, Java) and experience in .NET development.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) as well as TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres SQL).

In addition, you should have:

• Quality oriented mindset and commitment to writing and maintaining tests and documentation.
• Proactive "can and will do" attitude. While seniority is not a priority, the ability to get things done efficiently and effectively is important.
• Great team player skills with a keen social eye in different situations.
• Fluent communication skills both in written and spoken English. The team is Finnish speaking, but English is our company language so Finnish language skills are not a must, but nice to have.

While not essential, previous experience in financial management and reporting would be a valuable asset. It's also greatly beneficial if you have experience with cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, AWS and especially familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Our team uses GitHub for version control, along with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for continuous integration and deployment.

The salary range in this position is between 4000-6000 €/month depending on your relevant experience and seniority, but we are happy to hear your expectations. Although we're connected throughout the day, we don't physically sit close to each other, so we don't expect you to either. However, we would like you to occasionally visit your team mates at our offices in either Helsinki or Lappeenranta.

The recruitment process includes 2 interview rounds with Team Lead, Talent Partner and team members. Interviews will take place in May-June and we hope you will be able to join the team in the beginning of August.
