This very senior dual role will be responsible both to coordinate country specific HR policies, Compensation & Benefits, Unions, HR Network, HR activities, and initiatives in Finland and at the same time lead HR Operations in Finland.
As Country HR Lead Finland, you will work in a matrix set up with focus on HR compliance regarding Finnish law and collective agreement. You will team up with HR in our businesses and our corporate HR functions. As Espoo is the main corporate location for Tietoevry, HR support for our top management and our central corporate structure is a natural part of the role. You will be a part of country network and collaborate with other support functions as well as business managers, regarding Finnish specific initiatives. Your main focus will be to drive Finnish compensation and benefits processes, work environment projects and also setting a plan for common Finnish development areas, to ensure Tietoevry as an attractive employer.
Maintaining a HR network across Finland and driving initiatives will be a key part of this role and a forum for the HR leads in the businesses to meet and collaborate.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Drive agreed HR-responsibilities on the HR country agenda, such as salary review, work environment, union negations, compliance, and compensation & benefits related matters.
- Initiate necessary changes to adopt important country HR trends in benefits, legislation and similar through cooperation and matrix alignment activities together with our businesses/divisions and central HR functions.
- Support HR activities and projects:
- Support HR in business with strategic human resource projects
- Support global HR functions in yearly recurring activities such as engagement survey, performance management process etc
- Support merger, demerger, acquisition, and outsourcing projects involving HR activities
- HR support for Finnish corporate structure and top management
- Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Together with the team you will be responsible for the entire employee life cycle including areas such as: employment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, payroll, terms and conditions, organizational changes, work environment, rehabilitation, time reporting and off boarding
- Provide policies, procedures and templates that are up to date and in line with collective agreements and local laws
- Build, develop and lead good cooperation within the Global HR Operations team and external vendors
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- An academic degree such as HR, or other relevant areas
- Experience from strategic HR role
- Extensive experience of Comp & Ben area
- Extensive experience with union relations
- Media skills to represent our company
- Good insight and knowledge into operational HR and payroll
- Experience of driving projects
- Fluency in Finnish and English
- Fluently in using IT-tools and supporting HR with IT-systems
