Brain Technologies is searching for:

FullStack Software Developer (Junior & Senior)

We are seeking passionate and skilled Software Developers – both Junior and Senior – to join an innovative and dynamic team. You will work on the development of modern software solutions based on microservices architectures, either on the Java backend or Angular frontend stack. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level applications with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend microservices (Java/Spring Boot) or frontend components (Angular 14+)
• Implement and document REST APIs or user interfaces for enterprise-level applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Place: Full Remote (availability for 1 or 2 days per month in Florence, if needed)

Requirements – Junior Developer:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Java (backend) or Angular (frontend) development
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Basic knowledge of tools like Git, Jenkins, and Jira
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Requirements – Senior Developer:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java backend or Angular frontend development
• Proven experience in large-scale microservices-based systems
• Strong expertise in Spring/Spring Boot or Spring Cloud
• Proficiency in event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), distributed caching systems (e.g., Redis), and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and modern development environments (IntelliJ, Maven, Git)
• Familiarity with security standards such as OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior team members

Preferred Skills (All Levels):

• Certifications in Java (OCA SE 11+), Angular, or Spring (2022+)
• Knowledge of Material Design or Bootstrap for UI design (frontend)
• Experience with Liquibase, MQTT, and Helm/Kustomize for configuration management
• Basic command-line skills in Linux environments
