Tietoevry Tech Services Latvia is looking for ESG Lead to work with team towards the most sustainable business including environmental, ethical and social areas throughout the value chain.

With us you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing a long-term sustainability agenda/plan for the organization
• Coordinating and supporting subject matter experts (SMEs) in various areas of sustainability
• Ensure subject matter expertise in environmental impact, climate impact, GHG emission calculations, circularity, human rights, and labor rights
• Collaborate with other SMEs to cover topics like ethical conduct, corruption, diversity, equity and inclusion, responsible sourcing/supply chain management, cybersecurity and privacy, and responsible AI
• Oversee and manage sustainability reporting and statements
• Monitor and track relevant sustainability-related regulations with the legal team
• Support the business in compliance requirements and offer sustainability expertise
• Assist with customer inquiries, including RFPs
• Distribute relevant information to the Sustainability Steering Group, general management and Board of directors
  
  
  

We expect you have:

• Master`s degree in sustainability or related field
• 5 years of proven experience in sustainability
• Experience with sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks such as current EU directives and reporting requirements
• Strong knowledge in environmental impact, GHG emission calculations, circularity, human rights, and labor rights
• Fluent spoken and written English (for working with foreign clients and colleagues)
• Proven ability to create and execute long-term sustainability plans
• Familiarity with impacts, risks, and opportunities in the sustainability sector
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Advantageous to have knowledge of responsible sourcing, cybersecurity, and privacy
• Professional certifications or memberships in sustainability are a plus
