Job Title: QA Consultant

Location: Munsbach, Luxembourg

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Consultant to join our dynamic team in Munsbach, Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of QA methodologies, particularly within the banking sector, and demonstrate expertise in both manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive QA strategies for various applications (frontend/backend) and workflows.​
• Generate and execute high- and low-level test cases, document test results, and report identified quality issues from different test environments.​
• Collaborate with test automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test cases, and support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.​
• Organize and conduct demo sessions for business stakeholders and support them during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).​
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements in QA procedures and strategies.​
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, developers, and other department members to ensure quality standards are met.​

Required Qualifications

• University degree in an IT or finance-oriented field.​
• Significant experience in functional and non-functional software testing, with professional experience in the usage of test management tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Azure DevOps).​
• Experience with agile software development processes and techniques, particularly Scrum.​
• Basic professional experience with database testing (ideally MSSQL) and API testing (e.g., Postman).​
• Practical experience in structured programming (e.g., Python, SQL, C#, or Java).​
• ISTQB certification (foundational or advanced) is highly desirable.​
• Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in French is an advantage.​

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in the banking sector, particularly with credit cards or payment processes.​
• Experience with integration testing of system components.​
• Expertise in test automation for APIs/web services, web, and mobile applications.​
• Knowledge of non-functional testing, including performance and security testing.​
• Experience with Temenos Transact Core Banking System is a plus.​
