Main duties:

Luxair is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager Team Manager to lead its Project Management & Business Analysis team. This role offers the opportunity to manage high-impact projects within a fast-paced, dynamic industry while steering a talented team of professionals. As a key leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Luxair’s business landscape through efficient project management, strategic resource allocation, and process maturity enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all PMO-related topics.
• Ensure team cohesion, motivation, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop resource allocation plans to optimize workload distribution.
  
  

Project Management Excellence:

• Act as a Senior Project Manager, directly managing critical projects from initiation to delivery.
• Enhance IT project management maturity and refine project methodologies to align with business objectives.
• Ensure seamless execution of project gates and adherence to established standards.
  
  

Strategic Planning & Delivery:

• Define project blueprints, objectives, and deliverables that align with strategic goals.
• Identify and mobilize the right mix of talent to drive project success.
• Establish and implement RASCI matrices to ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Develop detailed project plans, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables with precision.
• Regularly monitor project schedules, budgets, and risks, making necessary adjustments to ensure success.
• Provide transparent progress reports and updates to stakeholders through tailored corporate reporting.
  
  

Quality Assurance:

• Maintain the highest standards of deliverable quality, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction at every project milestone.
• Validate all project deliverables with relevant stakeholders at each project gate.
  
  

Risk Management:

• Identify and proactively address project uncertainties and challenges, ensuring project continuity and success.
  
  

Required profile:

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Business Administration, Management, or Project Management.
• Extensive experience in Project Management in IT.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently, with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Prior experience in team management, showcasing strong organizational acumen.
• Fluent in written and verbal English, with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and confident, with a track record of influencing decision-makers and leading multicultural, cross-functional teams.
• Certified in Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2).
  
  

Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in French or German is an advantage, or willingness to acquire these skills.
