About The Role

This is a unique and highly attractive opportunity to design a platform from the ground up, a rare chance to leave your mark from the very foundation. You will lead the creation of a performant, resilient, and distributed iGaming solution built entirely from scratch using a modern tech stack comprised of Go, Laravel, and React. Key Responsibilities

• Develop new backend features on a highly scalable, self-healing platform that supports our dynamic iGaming ecosystem.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring best practices are followed and fostering a collaborative development environment.
• Research emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure our platform remains cutting edge.
• Operate within a test-driven development environment, ensuring that every piece of code is designed for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to analyse functional requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Use project management tools to track progress, manage requests and issues, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  
  

About You

• You have over 6 years of experience as a backend software engineer
• Proficiency in either Go or Laravel is required. Experience in one is sufficient, though familiarity with both is a plus. If your expertise is in Go, experience with gRPC is highly valued; if in Laravel, familiarity with RoadRunner is beneficial.
• A strong background in iGaming is essential, as understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within this space will be critical to your success.
