About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team focused on Project Lighthouse, a key initiative aimed at merging independent platforms into a unified platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a high-quality frontend application, adhering to coding standards, and collaborating with product management, backend developers, designers, and AdTech teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications using modern frameworks/libraries such as React or Next.js.
• Implement testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress to ensure robust and reliable code.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for efficient code management.
• Ensure code quality and security using tools like Renovatebot or Dependabot.
• Integrate continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions into the development workflow.
• Collaborate with backend developers to understand APIs and server-side processes.
• Communicate effectively in English and demonstrate ownership and leadership in epic development.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Proficiency in HTML5 and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks/libraries such as React or Next.js.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of code quality and security tools such as Renovatebot or Dependabot.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies, APIs, and server-side processes.
• Strong soft skills: communication in English, ownership, leading epics development.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in advertising technology.
• Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools like Sentry or Track.js.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote organization, with opportunities to meet once per month/quarter.
• Experience working with a global or multicultural team.

The Project aims to consolidate large-scale independent platforms into a single, unified platform. Our team is tasked with integrating the in-house (Liberty) advertising proposition into this new platform, ensuring no disruption to advertising revenues. The primary objective is to migrate all advertising placements from the Kleinanzeigen app to the new platform. This includes:

• Introducing advertising placements on pages such as VIP images, Homepage takeover, message box, seller other items.
• Integrating various advertising ad types like Ignite-PLA, AdSense, AdSense for Shopping, AdSense for Shopping Native, and Pro Seller.
