About the company and the project:

An international company specializing in the development of modern operating systems for hosting providers is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join its team!

The company's products are used by thousands of companies around the world, including Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom and many others.You will be working on a cutting-edge Linux-based product focused on security enhancements and live patching solutions for Linux systems.

Your tasks on the position:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Python-based solutions for Linux-based products
  • Work on live patching technologies and security enhancements for Linux systems
  • Contribute to the development of automated security and protection mechanisms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
  • Optimize and troubleshoot code to ensure efficiency and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
  • Analyze and mitigate security vulnerabilities to enhance system resilience
  • Research and integrate new technologies to enhance existing solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with Python
  • Strong knowledge of Linux
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD systems (preferably Ansible, Jenkins)
  • Experience in system programming (e.g., sockets, filesystem, process management)
  • English B2+

Will be an advantage:

  • Experience with network security
  • Experience with Go
  • Experience with SQL and Data Analysis
  • Experience with network and/or web security
  • Experience with ModSec rules and regular expressions
  • Experience with Web Application Firewalls
  • Experience in detecting and mitigating malware, viruses, and web shells
