Job Title: Python Data Engineer (Dagster/Snowflake)

We are looking for an experienced Python Data Engineer to join our team in designing and implementing scalable, modular data pipelines. This role focuses on integrating data between Snowflake and Dataverse using Dagster (or similar orchestration frameworks), writing clean and testable Python code, and building efficient SQL transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and orchestrate data pipelines using Dagster and Python.
• Build modular, reusable components for data ingestion, transformation, and export.
• Design and optimize SQL queries within Snowflake for performance and scalability.
• Integrate with external data sources via RESTful APIs.
• Implement unit testing and mocking strategies using pytest, supporting CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven business solutions.
• Contribute to version-controlled codebases and participate in peer reviews.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python (object-oriented programming, maintainable class-based code).
• Practical knowledge of Dagster, or similar orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Solid understanding of SQL, particularly within the Snowflake environment.
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modular development practices and scalable code design.
• Proficiency in unit testing, including use of pytest and mocking tools.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
