We are currently seeking a Java Developer for one of our banking clients.

✅Work location: Kraków

✅Work setting: 6-8 days per month from the office

✅Contract: B2B

Key Responsibilities

• Application developer role for front-to-back systems for trading Bonds, Credit Derivatives, and IR Derivatives.
• Propose and deliver sustainable solutions for the application, including but not limited to business use cases, DevOps, infrastructure, resiliency, and monitoring.
• Contribute to the development of new-age tooling and the improvement of the existing tech stack and processes.
• Understand department design principles, represent the application in design review forums, and interact with IT management and department engineering/tooling forums.
• Actively participate in enhancing the quality, performance, and scalability of applications through the adoption of best engineering and technological practices.

Knowledge and Experience

• 7+ years of experience supporting mission-critical applications.
• Prior experience in development for valuation engines, trade stores, or product-based applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with core Java and Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.
• Practical experience with microservices architecture and applied design principles.
• Familiarity with Rust is a plus.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
