Software Engineer III, VM Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• Experience using Linux operating systems.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with the production systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills.
• Interest in working with the large distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in production, staging and test environments improvements.
• Participate in technical debt reduction analysis and actively participate in implementation efforts.
• Document the changes to the system, so it is easily accessible to others.
• Implement improvements and parts of a feature with guidance of a Team Lead.
