System Maintenance and Support Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient application deployment
• Ensuring the uptime and smooth operation of the company's system infrastructure and applications
• Conducting regular maintenance and support processes for existing systems
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software and hardware issues; escalating to relevant teams when necessary
• Actively participating in performance monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution processes
• Planning and applying system updates and security patches
• Handling user and customer requests and providing technical support
• Familiarity with Java and Angular is an advantage, contributing to the maintenance and support of applications developed with these technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or system administration roles
• High familiarity on *nix systems
• Familiarity with basic scripting
• Experience with network infrastructures, databases, and security protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical support
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL or similar IT service management certifications
• Basic programming familiarity
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud solutions, and container technologies
• Proactive and analytical thinking skills, and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience with Java and Angular ecosystems for application support
• Proficiency in English
