What You Will Be Doing

The job holder will be responsible for turning data into knowledge that empowers our organization to make data-driven decisions. The job holder will work closely with various units to identify their data needs, gather and analyze relevant information, and translate complex findings into clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

• Partner with business stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs, challenges and key business questions. Translate business requirements into specific data queries and analyses.
• Utilize SQL, SAS and Python to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources.
• •Conduct advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining techniques and programming languages (EDA in Python) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
• 10+ years of experience in BI and data analytics or related with strong track record of delivering impactful insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.PBI, tableau)
• Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Experience in pattern recognition and trend analysis.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and development.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and methodologies.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration within a team. Banking/FinTech domain is highly recommended.
• Understanding on Retail Credit Operations, Call Center Operations and Financial Remediation is a plus.

What We are Looking for

• Solid understanding of Python and it's libraries for data analysis and EDA.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis (such as Propensity Models, Cross Sell Models) techniques using SAS and Python.
• Ability to apply advanced machine learning techniques such as logistic regression, random forests, gradient boosting (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM), support vector machines (SVMs), and neural networks for predictive analytics, credit risk modeling, fraud detection, and customer segmentation.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, ETL and processing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and VBA
