VP of AI / ML

Involved have partnered with a leading conglomerate to hire a VP of AI/ML to drive innovation, enhance data-driven decision-making, and lead AI and analytics initiatives. This role is essential for shaping the company's AI strategy, developing scalable solutions, and integrating business intelligence capabilities to optimize operations and customer insights.

About the role:

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction across AI, ML, and business intelligence functions.
• Architect and build a full ML platform and infrastructure to ensure scalability and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement advanced analytics models to enhance business decision-making, customer segmentation, and risk assessment.
• Lead a team of AI/ML engineers, MLOps, and data engineers to build, deploy, and maintain end-to-end ML models.
• Oversee data integration, feature engineering, and the development of feature stores to support AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate company objectives into actionable AI and BI solutions.
• Define best practices for AI/ML development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Leverage predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to optimize pricing strategies and customer engagement.
• Drive innovation in areas such as NLP, computer vision, generative AI, and reinforcement learning.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data governance standards.

About You:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ML models and analytics solutions at scale, ideally in a Retail or Manufacturing background.
• Strong background in AI/ML fundamentals, data science, and software engineering.
• Proven experience building AI-driven solutions
• Commercial experience in cloud-based AI architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and drive a data-driven culture.
• PhD or Master's in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
