Join a high-performing engineering team as a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Java. We're looking for a driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a solid background in building high-availability, scalable backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about writing clean, efficient code and contributing to impactful backend solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of backend services with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Write and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend systems and external services.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Help drive the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery processes.
  • Create and run unit and integration tests to guarantee the quality of your code.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate best practices into your development workflow.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in Java backend development, with hands-on experience using Spring Boot and microservices patterns.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Deep understanding of backend architecture principles and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • A systematic approach to problem-solving, especially in complex or production-critical scenarios.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in your work.
