Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist with experience in Generative AI and AWS to join our AI team. In this role, you'll develop AI models, integrate them into scalable systems, and work alongside engineers to solve complex business problems using advanced machine learning techniques.

Location: Sydney

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy Generative AI models (LLMs, RAG, NLP).
• Build and optimize AI pipelines on AWS using tools like SageMaker and Lambda.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions for real-world applications.
• Fine-tune and evaluate models to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Continuously improve models and stay current with AI trends and advancements.

Skills & Experience:

• 4–7 years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Transformers).
• Experience with AWS tools (SageMaker, Lambda, S3).
• Strong background in Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning pipelines.
• Experience with model deployment and MLOps.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Agentic AI or multi-agent systems.
• Understanding of AI ethics and model explainability tools.
• Experience working in regulated industries like finance.
