At Talenter we are looking for a Information Security Analyst that will be responsible for safeguarding an organization's computer systems and networks. It will play a pivotal role in protecting sensitive information from cyber threats by implementing security measures and responding to security breaches.
Key Responsibilities

- Risk Assessment: Conducting regular assessments of the organization's IT infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Security Measures: Developing and implementing security protocols and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitoring networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
- Incident Response: Responding to security incidents and coordinating with IT teams to mitigate and resolve threats in a timely manner.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements related to information security.
- Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on security status and incidents for management.
- Innovation: Staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.
- Education: Is desirable a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are desirable.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in security tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience 3 to 4 years as an Information Security Analyst or a similar role, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
- At least 1-2 years of experience applying and performing assessments using NIST 800-53 or the HiTrust security framework is desirable.
- 100% remote from LATAM
- As a contractor (indefinitely time)
