In a phase of strong international expansion and large-scale structuring, Cohabs is looking for a Deputy CEO. This role requires a deep understanding of the hospitality sector, particularly operations scalability, as well as strong expertise in investor relations and an interest in large-scale fundraising (200M€+).
The role is based in Belgium.
What you’ll be doing:
As Deputy CEO, you will be central in structuring and leading Cohabs’ expansion, overseeing strategic decision-making, and ensuring financial sustainability.
- Support the CEO & C-Level in defending Cohabs’ strategy and business model, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Led large-scale fundraising efforts (200M€+), securing capital to sustain Cohabs’ rapid growth and international expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and financial stakeholders.
- Drive large-scale process improvements, operational optimization, and efficiency strategies to support Cohabs’ expansion.
- Challenge executive teams at all levels, ensuring strategic decisions are data-driven, business-oriented, and growth-focused.
- Build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, ensuring Cohabs attracts and retains top talent.
- Act as a federator, bridging corporate vision with day-to-day execution, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and premium service delivery.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, with a strong track record of scaling organizations efficiently and successfully.
- Experience in management consulting, private equity, or high-growth scale-up.
- Industry experience in premium hospitality businesses is highly valued.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance strategy with execution.
- Federator & inspiring leader, fostering a strong company culture and employee engagement.
- Ability to challenge teams and drive a high-performance culture while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Deep understanding of the real estate and/or hospitality sector, asset management, and international expansion dynamics.
- Ability to drive complex projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent negotiation and financial modeling skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
