PHP Developer

Full-time, Relocation Available to Amsterdam, In House, Open to EU Candidates

Your mission

Our client is looking for a PHP Developer to strengthen our team in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and work with other team members in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

• Work on a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex challenges within our cutting-edge R&D projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive discussions around technical best practices and identify the most effective technical solutions.
• Write "clean", well-designed code.
• Produce detailed documentation of released features.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Automate tasks when necessary.

Your profile

• Proven at least 3 years of software development experience in PHP.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science.
• Mandatory experience in integrating credit card payment systems.
• Proven experience in integrating third-party APIs using REST, JSON, SOAP and XML.
• Understanding of OOP and SOLID concepts.
• Good knowledge of databases (Relational/AWS Aurora/AWS Redshift).
• Experienced using version control tools (Gitlab).
• Working knowledge of writing unit-tests.
• Passion for writing clean code.
