Working in Mobile Platform teams includes developing new mobile apps and online experiences; using digital messaging to enhance our customer relationships; building and improving the underlying technology and security platforms; and innovating our propositions to compete effectively in a mobile, data-driven world. You will be part of a cross-functional team growing our digital capabilities, driving innovation, delivering products in ever-shortening cycles and helping to drive the continuous improvement of our processes, tooling and engineering practices.

What Will You Do

• Creating and developing mobile applications in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose
• Designing and implementing solutions based on design patterns MVP, MVVM
• Integrating applications with network services using Retrofit
• Managing dependencies using tools like Koin, Dagger, Hilt
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  
  

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications in Kotlin
• Very good understanding of the Android framework and its ecosystem
• Practical knowledge of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow
• Familiarity with architecture patterns: MVP, MVVM and Clean Architecture
• Experience in application modularization and dependency management (e.g., Koin, Dagger, Hilt)
• Confident in managing app state with ViewModel and LiveData
• Hands-on with Android Lifecycle and resource management
• Comfortable working with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines – setting up and maintaining automated workflows
• Competent in using Git (GitHub/GitLab) and participating in code reviews
  
  

Mobile App Security

• Secure data storage using tools like EncryptedSharedPreferences or Keystore
• Secure network communication (e.g. HTTPS, SSL Pinning)
• Preventing reverse engineering and other mobile threats
• Implementing user authentication and authorization
  
  

Quality & Collaboration

• Writing reliable unit and integration tests
• Proactive in identifying and solving production issues (including incident handling)
• Open to sharing knowledge, giving feedback and participating in retrospectives
• Experience working in distributed teams with strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
