Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the execution of all maintenance activities within with particular emphasis on both light and heavy tracked and wheeled vehicle systems.
• Ensure that all maintenance inspections, servicing, rebuilds, overhauls and repairs are accomplished in accordance with all technical manuals, KPIs and OEM specifications.
• Develop, implement, revise and enforce all quality directives as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
• Oversee, monitor and review final inspections performed at the conclusion of maintenance to ensure a quality vehicle, assembly or subassembly is provided to the customer.
• Review, prioritise and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) in accordance with SAP PM orders.
• Review, approve and/or reject all “Waiting Manager Approval” maintenance orders within SAP.
• Change the status from “Awaiting Spares” to “In-Progress Awaiting Spares” in SAP when applicable.
• Approve or reject all additional maintenance tasks within SAP.
• Monitor and update all daily and weekly reports within SAP.
• Oversee the storage and disposal of all hazardous materials in accordance with all environmental directives and regulations
• Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
• Ensure all issued tools, test equipment and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
• Ensure that all maintenance related documentation is completed in accordance with all maintenance directives.
  
  

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering required, Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in the same field
• A minimum of five to seven years of experience supervising, managing, and/or directing light and heavy tracked and/or wheeled vehicle maintenance is preferred.
  
  

Key Skills :

• Must be able to read , write and speak in Arabic
• Previous military experience or automotive industry management experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and SAP is preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
• Must have a valid UAE driver’s license.
