Cloud Engineer

Mandatory Skills

• Possess a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure, AWS technologies, or containerized environments.
• Hands-on experience in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience in CICD (GitHub Actions).
• Strong experience in AWS.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes.
• Experience and knowledge in Azure.
• Ability to manage and monitor Cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Cloud security best practices and involvement in security-related activities.
• ⁠Experience in software development in Python or TypeScript.
• Follow good software engineering practices (e.g. SOLID, TDD).
• Have at least 2 years of experience working on platform projects serving other developers.
• Team player who is keen to learn, independent, and with strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with the following skillsets will have an added advantage:
• Python libraries: FastAPI, Pydantic, Poetry, Artificial Intelligence libraries (e.g. Langflow).
• Artificial Intelligence-powered workflows, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Language platform engineering.
• Frontend development experience in React.

Brief Job Description

Summary:

• The successful candidate will be supporting platform layer to centralize and abstract infrastructure issues away from application teams, which provides powerful and safe tools to develop and deploy GenAI use cases in a secured and consistent manner.
• The platform provides:
• Software SDK and tools to develop and test Artificial Intelligence workflows.
• API platform to served published Artificial Intelligence workflows.
• API gateway to external Artificial Intelligence services and models (e.g. Azure OpenAI, AWS Textract, etc.)
• Web portal for enterprise Artificial Intelligence services (ChatAI, AI Launchpad)

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance scalability to support higher concurrency Artificial Intelligence workflows.
• Support agentic workflows in Artificial Intelligence platform.
• Unified UI to support chat and non-chat Artificial Intelligence capabilities.
• Innovation space for rapid prototyping.
• Enhancement to Apollo API gateway to Kong-based proxy.
