Context
Ingenico develops payment terminals based on Android technology. Android is a generic mobile operating system that needs to be hardened and customized to be used and certified within a payment device. Ingenico Firmware teams adapt Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to make sure that it fits its specific hardware configuration (including its application processor and its specific peripherals) as well as domain and security constraints. Once customized, these AOSPs are used on a broad range of devices and projects worldwide.
Ingenico France has developed a specific AOSP expertise and is currently extending its development teams.
Job Responsibilities
As an Android FW developer you will join the Ingenico R&D teams located in Valence. Following an hybrid set-up, you will contribute to the design, the coding, the integration, the testing, the troubleshooting, and the release of extensive SW stacks that include AOSP and related pieces of Midleware. Depending upon the projects, you will be taking in charge a broad range of components that can include drivers, secure and trusted applications, boot mechanism, file system, signature & integrity features, test applications and many others. You will be working in close collaboration with senior developers experts in their field who will provide their guidance and help you align with quality and performance standards.
Profile
Ingenico welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
We want to adapt our processes and create a safe work environment that welcomes everyone.
