Senior Pentester

We are looking for an experienced Senior Penetration Tester to join our client as a Senior Consultant in their specialised cybersecurity division.

Our client provides sovereign cybersecurity solutions in Australia, helping organizations defend against modern threats while ensuring compliance and business growth. With a local team of experts and a global network of Cyber Defense Centres, they offer advanced security capabilities, industry partnerships, and scalable solutions to protect against evolving risks.

About the Role

• Work primarily with a Sydney-based enterprise client, with additional projects across Australia.
• Collaborate with our teams on a global and local level.
• Spend 2–3 days onsite in Sydney, conducting penetration tests and working directly with client teams.
• Perform security assessments, analyze results, and provide remediation strategies.
• Support business growth by engaging with clients and expanding our services.
• Mentor team members and coordinate project activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in:

• Web application penetration testing
• API penetration testing
• Infrastructure penetration testing (internal & external)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Web, web services, mobile, and thick client penetration testing
• Internal and external network penetration testing
• Deep understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical skills.
• OSCP certification (preferred) or actively pursuing it.

Bonus Skills

• Experience in thick client and mobile app penetration testing is a plus.
