To ensure and support Swappie’s growth path and global key processes via our IT ecosystem, IT tools and third party software we are looking for an awesome team player to join our tech organisation as an

IT MANAGER

in Tallinn. As the IT Manager at Swappie, you'll play a crucial role in empowering our teams with the technology they need to work effectively and deliver exceptional value to our customers. You'll take ownership of a secure and efficient IT ecosystem, encompassing hardware, software, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity, ensuring seamless operation of key business processes. You'll also lead and mentor our IT support team in providing timely and effective technical assistance to the entire company and its 800 employees.

We welcome you to our friendly site in Tallinn, Järve, as soon as you are able to join us. The nature of the role and global IT responsibility requires travelling to our Helsinki and Leipzig offices a couple of times per quarter. The contract is full-time and permanent.

IN THIS ROLE YOU GET A CHANCE TO

Manage hardware and services:

• Managing third-party service purchases.
• Optimising vendor relationships for cost efficiency.
• Procuring hardware and devices.
• Managing team budget and optimising IT costs.
• Tracking and analysing IT costs for actionable insights.

Ensure global IT security:

• Ensuring the security of all endpoints and communication platforms.

Lead people in the IT team:

• Driving individual IT team members’ job performance, impact and job satisfaction.
• Coaching individuals and setting clear expectations aligned with company values.
• Recruiting new members to the IT team.

Take ownership of the IT Team’s results:

• Tracking the KPIs of the IT team and providing a good service level.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders on larger projects.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU

• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and via documents and presentations.
• Have experience leading a team with members from different backgrounds and locations. This would be a great asset, as our team is currently spread across Estonia and Finland.
• Have experience in setting up technical systems and integrations especially with modern SAAS services to solve business problems.
• Are proactively willing to own and develop further the solutions you create.
• Are results-oriented with a hands-on attitude (can build networks and set up computers, when needed).
• Are flexible to work on site and travel to other Swappie sites.
• Possess excellent knowledge of Google Workspace administration and management. Including SAML application setup.
• Have good knowledge of wired and wireless technologies (preferably Fortigate and Aruba). (WiFi Network super wizards get a lot of extra credit.)
• Know Windows endpoint management.
• Know macOS and iOS endpoint management.
• Have in-depth knowledge of managing SAAS services.
• Have a deep understanding of scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python etc).
• Have good command of Lowcode API integrations (preferably make.com).
