Quality Assurance Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Team Lead to join our dynamic team and ensure the quality and performance of our cutting-edge financial products.

Role Overview:

As the QA Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our fintech/IT products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to design and implement effective testing strategies and deliver top-tier financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, ensuring best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements, technical specifications, and potential risks.
• Drive automation testing efforts and identify areas for automation across the testing lifecycle.
• Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring all defects are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal security protocols within the fintech space.
• Continuously assess and improve QA processes and methodologies to align with the latest industry best practices.
• Provide clear and concise reports on QA activities, progress, risks, and test results to senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on delivering high-quality products.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience working within the fintech industry, understanding financial products, services, and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of the technical features of Android and iOS operating systems (Split view, Doze and App Standby, push notifications)
• Skills in back-end testing (REST API)
• Basic skills with Postman and cURL
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
