Your Mission

You will be a strong contributor to Hawk’s cloud-based and AI-driven Anti-Financial crime platform. As a vital part of the team, you are implementing scalable functionality in high quality. Knowing the job goes beyond shipping code, you enjoy our continuous delivery process and collectively take ownership of code and operation. Hands-on with the data science colleagues, you build a product that makes a difference with us.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable fullstack applications integrating modern backend and frontend technologies end to end
• Data Engineering: Develop and maintain a data strategy focused on real time performance requirements
• Work closely with data scientists, product teams, and other engineers to deploy and monitor data-intensive applications
• Actively participate in design and code reviews; contribute to team best practices
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation in production
• Promote engineering best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  
  

Your Profile

• 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka integrating with Python
• Good working knowledge of Elasticsearch, including indexing strategies, query DSL, and cluster management
• Understanding of best practices in API design
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
