Data Scientist – Contract

Daily Rate Opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to tackle a challenging, interesting project. You will be joining a multinational as part of a team tasked with designing and building a new fraud analytics platform.

Your role will involve engaging with the business to understand the requirements, conducting analysis, designing and building fraud detection models. This is an enterprise scale project dealing with large volumes of data.

The tech stack includes R, Python, AWS, EMR, Hadoop.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial data science experience (3 – 5 years), experience in machine learning and strong technical skills.

Role / opportunity:

• Data Scientist

• Daily Rate Contract (6 months)

• Green field projects from POC to production

• Challenging problems to solve and huge data sets to mine

• Python, R, Machine Learning, Predictive Modelling, Hadoop, EMR, AWS,

• Agile, dynamic environment

Skills / experience:

• 3 – 5 years’ commercial experience as a data scientist

• Strong experience building predictive models

• Programming skills in Python, R

• Experience with AWS, Hadoop and/or Spark is beneficial

Package:

• €450 per day

• 3 – 6 month contract
