Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Consultant to join their Corporate Finance Division. This role requires a mix of strong technical expertise and business acumen to deliver impactful solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in AI/ML model development, data strategy, and managing analytics projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse and interpret complex data sets to develop actionable insights and data-driven solutions for clients.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders (internal teams and clients) to define and refine data requirements and strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Customized Solutions: Design and deliver customized solutions that meet clients' data infrastructure and business needs, providing exceptional value and results.
AI/ML Model Development: Oversee all elements of AI/ML model development, including data enrichment, sampling, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model assessment, development, calibration, and validation.
Project Management: Lead and manage analytics and AI projects/workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals.
ETL Development: Utilise expertise in ETL to develop data pipelines, integrate various data sources, and query APIs for optimized data flow.
Model Design & Development: Design and develop scalable, robust, and efficient analytical models to support business decisions.
Consultancy & Best Practices: Provide consultancy on data best practices, operational efficiencies, and potential areas for improvement.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, setting clear objectives, ensuring alignment, and delivering on time.

Key Responsibilities

Define Data Strategies: Work closely with clients and teams to define data requirements and strategies for client projects.
Model Ownership: Take ownership of the evaluation, development, calibration, and deployment of analytical models.
Project Alignment: Ensure all analytics and AI projects are strategically aligned with client objectives and business needs.
Foster Data-Driven Culture: Champion a data-driven mindset within the organization, promoting innovation through the use of AI and analytics.
AI/ML Client Solutions: Identify novel use cases for AI/ML and analytics, leading efforts to bring these solutions to market.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to fully understand their needs, articulate tailored solutions, and define the approach for delivering successful outcomes.
Industry Trends & Research: Stay up to date with the latest technological trends, AI advancements, and industry developments through active research, attending conferences, and participating in relevant forums.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: A relevant degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills:

Strong experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.).
Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and API querying.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with analytics frameworks, business intelligence tools, and databases.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to connect technical data solutions with client business goals.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage analytics or AI projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations.
Experience:

At least 3-5 years of experience in a data-driven, client-facing role.
Experience in corporate finance, business analytics, or related industries is a plus.

Desirable Skills

Familiarity with advanced data modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms.
Proven track record in leading teams and managing client expectations.
Expertise in consulting, solution design, and driving client success through data and analytics.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
