Angel Invest is one of Europe’s most active early-stage investors, making over 50 angel investments per year into European technology startups. We invest primarily in Pre-seed and Seed rounds, with an initial check size of €100k. Your mission

We are looking for an Analyst with a proven interest in Climate Tech to join our team. Your experience and expertise may come in many forms. Perhaps you wrote a thesis or a book, built a product, run a blog, a podcast, or something else. Share it with us.

This is an incredible opportunity to break into venture capital, where you’ll get paid to develop deep expertise in your specific sector. While you’ll have exposure to venture capital processes like deal flow and investments, the primary responsibility will be focused on sector-specific research and working on strategic projects with our anchor LP.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within Climate Tech.
• Prepare insightful presentations and investment theses to inform our investment team and external stakeholders about opportunities and developments.
• Collaborate closely with our anchor LP to work on high-impact projects, including technology briefings and executive events that connect technology experts with corporate executives.
• Help organize small-scale executive events aimed at fostering relationships between corporate leaders and technology experts.
• Participate in deal flow meetings, providing sector-specific insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Work with the VC team to shape and evolve our investment theses based on the latest market research and technological developments.
  
  

About You

• Education: Successfully graduated and holding a BSc and/or MSc or PhD in any field related to Climate Tech.
• Expertise: Proven curiosity and passion for Climate Tech. Perhaps you’ve written a thesis, have work experience, or any other notable achievements in this field.
• Entrepreneurial attitude: Independent worker and self-starter, able to take initiative and work with significant freedom to deliver results.
• Language: Outstanding written and spoken communication skills in both German (native or bilingual) and English (professional).
• You must be based or willing to relocate to Berlin.
