Senior Web Developer (WFH)

Job Description

Shopify Development:

Work within the Shopify platform to develop custom themes and integrations.
Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using Shopify Liquid and modern frameworks such as React.
Develop and maintain key integration services that ETL data between Shopify and other vendors using serverless technologies such as AWS lambda.
Collaborate with designers and key stakeholders to create seamless, visually appealing, and functional user interfaces.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
Use modern tools and methodologies for version control, testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Workflow Automation:

Design and maintain workflow automation using tools like Shopify Flow and Make.com.

Performance Optimization:

Optimise website performance by improving Core Web Vitals scores.
Implement best practices to enhance site speed and responsiveness.

Tracking & Analytics:

Implement SEO best practices to ensure high search engine rankings.
Integrate and manage tracking tools and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, GA4, GTM, and others.
Ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or any related field.
Extensive experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Experience with automation tools such as Make.com, Zapier, or any Agentic AI automation tools is a plus.
Experiences with the Shopify platform and Liquid templating language are a plus.
Experience with AWS and familiarity with cloud-based development and deployment is a plus.
Proficiency in React and experience with other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Deep understanding of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with tracking/analytics tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
