Your role and responsibilities

We are an international pioneering technology leader that is writing the future of industrial digitalization. At the forefront is our Corporate Technology Center which provides industry leading software and deep domain expertise to help the world’s most asset-intensive industries solve their biggest challenges.

To strengthen our Integrated Operations Management team, developing unified approach for software which consists of set of services and apps with individual lifecycles hosted on top of ABB common platforms for on-prem execution and cloud, we are looking for a Frontend Developer, who is an effective team player with excellent communication skills. As a Frontend Developer you will be a member of the Agile team in Kraków. You will be working in cross-functional team which operates in an international environment. Being part of this team means also being a part of the huge stream which operates using Scaled Agile Framework

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Employ newest, state-of-the-art tools and language frameworks daily
• Introduce or request new tools to improve team productivity
• Designing and developing greenfield products using microservices and micro-frontends architecture
• Ensuring high quality in the developed products with great user experience
• Participating in the whole software development lifecycle from analysis, design, implementation, testing to delivery, following best DevOps practices
• Working in a cross-discipline, international, English-speaking teams, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team activities
  
  

Qualifications for the role

• 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development using TypeScript, JavaScript and React
• Fluency in English
• Experience with consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience with CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind CSS,
• Hands-on experience with workflows based on NPM or Yarn
• Practical skills using Docker
• Experience in using Gi
• Hands-on knowledge of the best testing practices
• Good understanding of microservices architectures
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
