How do I become a Junior Google Cloud Engineer at Coolblue?

Together with your team, you’ll build and improve the cloud infrastructure that powers all of Coolblue’s Tech and Data. You believe in automating everything: infrastructure with IaC, deployments with CI/CD, and manual steps with smart scripting. You help us move faster, safer, and more reliably—by making the cloud work for our development, analytics, and science teams. You’ll design and deliver a well-architected, GCP-based foundation that acts as a self-service platform for developers. Whether it's improving observability, introducing new building blocks, or refining our deployment process, you’ll be contributing to something that hundreds of engineers depend on.

You’ll collaborate closely with software developers, data engineers and other platform teams to ensure their applications deploy without a hitch—and you’ll guide them when it comes to infrastructure decisions. Whether you're a Junior eager to learn, or a Medior ready to take the next step, this role will support your growth.

You recognize yourself in the following

• Technical Bachelor’s degree under your belt.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform — GCP earns bonus points.
• Solution-driven mindset and a love for solving complex problems.
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD tools, or eager to get the hang of them.
• Curious about observability tooling like logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Comfortable collaborating with developers, SREs, and other stakeholders.
• Bonus: written code in Python, C#, or TypeScript (or excited to learn).
