🛠️ About the Role
We're looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our team for an exciting new project: the creation of a companion app for our Learning Management System (LMS) used by hundreds of students in remote education.
As a Junior Android Developer, you’ll play a key role in bringing this companion app to life. The app is being built from the ground up, so you'll be involved from the early stages of the project. This is a great opportunity to work on a real-world, purpose-driven app that will support students in their remote learning journey.
The position is remote, with the possibility of working from our Gothenburg office. We’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
👷🏼Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Collaborating with designers and product managers to implement intuitive and accessible UI/UX for students
- Developing and maintaining app features using Kotlin and Android best practices
- Integrating APIs to sync data with the main LMS platform
- Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews
- Testing the app on different devices and resolving bugs or performance issues
- Participating in regular team stand-ups and sprint planning sessions
You’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced team and will have room to grow your skills while making a real impact.

A junior developer who's motivated, organized, and ready to learn and grow alongside a collaborative team. You’ll be helping us design and build the app, implement new features, and test for quality.
🔧 Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with Android Studio and basic UI/UX design principles
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and basic networking concepts
- Ability to work in a version-controlled environment (e.g., Git)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
