AI / Deep Learning Medical Image Analysis Intern

Your Role

• Collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers on a challenging research project aimed at solving real-world healthcare problems.
• Apply novel machine / deep learning techniques on large-scale patient imaging datasets.
• Design, train, and validate algorithms for image and video analysis, detection, and classification.
• Conduct systematic experimental evaluations leading to scientifically sound conclusions.
• Contribute to publication of the work.
  
  

You're The Right Fit If

• Currently studying for a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Physical Sciences
• Experience applying deep learning for medical imaging and conducting research in deep learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and Pytorch library.
• Experience processing and analyzing medical image data. Experience with ultrasound is a plus.
• Self-motivated with ability to plan and execute research in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $34.00-46.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
