Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented BW/SAC Specialist (Offshore) to join our analytics and reporting team. This role requires deep expertise in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to support data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions that drive data-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP BW models and data flows including InfoProviders, DSOs, CompositeProviders, and Queries.
• Build, maintain, and optimize SAP SAC dashboards, stories, and analytical applications.
• Work closely with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate SAC with SAP BW and S/4HANA as data sources using both live and import connections.
• Develop calculated key figures, hierarchies, prompts, and filters in both BW and SAC environments.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across reports and dashboards.
• Manage user roles, security settings, and access permissions in SAC and BW.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of BI solutions.
• Support change requests, incident resolution, and minor enhancements in offshore delivery model.
• Stay up to date on new SAP SAC and BW features and apply best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SAP BW (7.x or BW/4HANA) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting architectures.
• Hands-on experience in developing SAC dashboards and integrating with SAP backend systems.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, BEx queries, and Analysis for Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a remote, offshore model.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BW/4HANA migration or greenfield implementations.
• SAC certification or other SAP BI-related certifications.
• Knowledge of Predictive Analytics or Planning models in SAC.
• Experience working in Agile environments and global delivery teams.
