Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst

The Role

Join our Technology Security Team as a Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst and help shape the future of security culture at Auto & General. You’ll support our compliance and risk management activities while collaborating to uplift policies, frameworks, and business-wide awareness around digital security.

Your New Team

You’ll be part of a supportive and expert Security team, reporting to the Head of Security Governance, Risk and Compliance. With a collaborative culture and a focus on continuous improvement, we work closely with stakeholders across the business to embed effective security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate to enhance security policies, standards, and procedures
• Support internal and external audit and compliance processes
• Assist with third-party risk management and vendor due diligence
• Contribute to the development of the Technology risk register
• Conduct business impact analyses and gap assessments
• Promote and strengthen security culture across the business
• Stay informed on emerging security risks and regulatory changes
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and PCI-DSS
• Familiarity with GRC frameworks and ISMS
• Strong understanding of fundamental information security concepts
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn
