JOB DESCRIPTION:

Citrix System Engineer, who will play a vital role in deploying and operating new infrastructure based on Citrix and Nutanix technologies.

The role focuses on an operational infrastructure project aimed at:

• Deploying and configuring a newly acquired computing cluster.
• Establishing Citrix and Nutanix Workspace as the foundational platform for supporting virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery needs.

Responsibilities:

• Expert Advice & Architectural Vision:
• Provide expertise in Citrix system engineering: advice, technology watch, risk analysis, standards, solution patterns, and best practices.
• Elaborate design and vision documents in consultation with stakeholders.
• Implementation:
• Deliver the design, installation, and configuration of Citrix and Nutanix technologies.
• Implement, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain IT systems for a 24/7 secure, reliable, and efficient service.

Operations:

• Operate IT services adhering to agreed service levels, ITSM practices, and internal policies.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support, register incidents, troubleshoot, and escalate to external parties when required.
• Documentation & Testing:
• Develop clear technical documentation.
• Create and test standard operational procedures (e.g., backups, restore, monitoring).

Collaboration:

• Collaborate proactively in a team-oriented environment to support CMS and the entire organization.

Experience:

• At least 5+ years of professional experience in systems administration, particularly in:
• Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
• Designing VDI infrastructure and data center systems.
• Implementing and administering Citrix enterprise infrastructure.

Skills:

• Proficiency in standard monitoring and management tools.
• Ability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset with a hands-on approach.

Additional Assets:

• General knowledge of networking, ICT infrastructure, and ITIL best practices.
• Ability to work in international/multicultural environments.
• Hands-on experience with other Nutanix solutions or IT automation.
