Europol is looking to establish a reserve list of successful candidates for the internship profile “Travel Risk Management Process”. Following the selection procedure, the successful candidate will be allocated to the team of Security and Facilities Services within the Governance Directorate.
This internship project will focus on supporting the implementation of the Travel Risk Management Process leaded by the Security Intelligence and Travel Security Office within Security and Services Team.
The intern will assist the team by:
- Creating a list of accommodations in non-EU countries visited by Europol staff;
- Gathering feedback from staff members regarding security challenges faced and/or observed during last trips;
- Contributing to the travel risk management process;
- Contributing to updating security briefings;
- Monitoring and identifying relevant topics on social media;
- Providing assistance in processing and assessing frantic communication to identify threats towards the organisation;
The successful candidate will join the internship project for a minimum period of 6 months and a maximum period of 12 months, including any possibility of extension based on the performance of the intern, the interest of the service and budget availability, with a work schedule of 40 hours a week. The internship will take place at the Europol premises in The Hague, The Netherlands.
During the period of internship, interns currently receive a MONTHLY MAINTENANCE GRANT of 1.500 EUR, serving the purpose to cover the costs of living in The Netherlands.
