Role Description:

As a Web Development Intern specializing in e-commerce and Shopify, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, and optimization of our e-commerce website for the VX brand. This 6-month internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in web development with a focus on Shopify. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and design teams to improve the website’s functionality, speed, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the VX brand’s e-commerce website, focusing on Shopify.

• Optimize the website for performance, speed, and SEO.

• Implement new features and functionalities to improve user experience and drive sales.

• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure the website’s visual appeal and brand consistency.

• Conduct website testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth user experience.

• Support the integration of third-party services and tools within the Shopify platform.

• Stay updated with the latest web development and e-commerce trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Shopify, including experience with Shopify themes, apps, and customizations.

• Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Familiarity with web design principles and responsive design.

• Understanding of SEO best practices and tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, E-Commerce, or a related field.
