Computer Vision/AI Engineer Team Lead

WinCan Poland is a leading provider of innovative software solutions for sewer inspection and asset management. As part of the global WinCan brand, we specialize in developing advanced technologies that help municipalities and service providers efficiently manage wastewater infrastructure..

Our team works on implementing deep learning algorithms for defect recognition, dimensional analysis, and spatial reconstruction from inspection footage.

Technologies: Python, AWS, FastAPI, PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, OpenCV

👉 What you will do:

• Work with a team that includes backend and frontend developers and QA analysts to create compelling software products for our customers,
• Participate in all aspects of software development: from estimating to scheduling, to implementation and then release.

👉 Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field,
• 5+ years of experience in developing computer vision systems, including hands-on implementation and deployment.
• 5+ years of experience developing APIs for stand-alone or cloud-based applications,
• 2+ years of experience with MS Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud,
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile teams using Scrum,
• Strong Python Experience,
• Have an understanding of repo management, code release, testing and DevOps processes,
• Have good coding practices and software design approaches.
• Experience in team leadership, team management, or strong leadership potential with a desire to grow into a management role.

👉 It would be great if you also have:

• Experience working with vSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping),
• Experience in software architecture,
• Leadership experience in guiding development teams,
• Structure from motion (sfm), photogrammetry, and openCV.
