We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Technology & Innovation Officer to lead the Group’s digital transformation, technology strategy, and innovation investments across its diverse portfolio. The Chief Technology & Innovation Officer will act as a bridge between cutting-edge technology and the Group’s commercial and operational ambitions, identifying opportunities where AI, digital platforms, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies can deliver competitive advantages, operational excellence, and long-term growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a Group-wide technology and innovation strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Act as a senior advisor to the management Team on technological trends, digital disruption, and innovation opportunities.

b. Innovation & Emerging Technology

  • Monitor global innovation pipelines (AI, Web3, quantum, fintech, smart cities) and advise on potential adoption or investment.
  • Build internal capability to trial and scale new technologies within operations, especially in real estate, hospitality, automotive, and retail.

c. Digital Transformation & Modernization

  • Oversee transformation projects to digitise customer experiences, back-office operations, and interdepartmental functions.
  • Lead integration of intelligent systems in properties (IoT, energy efficiency, automation) and guest experiences in hospitality assets.

d. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks, compliance protocols, and data privacy strategies across the Group.
  • Build response systems for digital threats and ensure business continuity.

e. Technology Investment & Partnerships

  • Identify and evaluate high-return investment opportunities in tech-enabled businesses, startups, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development and Investment teams to assess technology-related joint ventures.
  • Forge partnerships with leading universities, accelerators, and tech firms to stay ahead of the innovation curve.

f. Digital Talent & Culture

  • Cultivate a culture of digital fluency, innovation, and agility across the organisation.
  • Lead a team of technology experts and drive internal upskilling initiatives in AI, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or innovation leadership roles within large multinationals, preferably with diversified business operations.
  • Proven track record of driving digital innovation, launching enterprise-scale initiatives, and advising on high-impact tech investments.
  • Deep understanding of AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, blockchain, IoT, and data science.
  • Executive-level experience working directly with boards or C-suite stakeholders.
  • Global perspective experienced.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or PhD is a plus.
