Java Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our fast-paced technology consulting team. You will work closely with clients across various industries to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. This role requires hands-on coding expertise, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality deliverables on time.
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions.
• Integrate with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Java (Java SE, Java EE/Spring).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with front-end integration (JavaScript/React/Angular is a plus).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
• Solid understanding of design patterns, unit testing, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
