Role: Network Security Specialist
Job Purpose Statement:
We are looking for a skilled Network Security Specialist. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years network and application security experience and concentrating on systems analysis, design and implementation.
Job Descriptions:
Provide technical advice on access control and security models.
• Defend systems against unauthorized access and modification.
• Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, intrusion prevention system and advanced Anti-Malware Protection system.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity
• Implement network security policies, application security, access control and corporate data safeguards
• Analyze and establish security requirements for the networks
• Plan, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot internal information technology security policies, application security, access control, and corporate data safeguards.
• Perform network scanning and vulnerability assessments.
• Analyze and define security requirements for local and wide area networks.
• Maintain protection against OWASP top 10 threats, application vulnerabilities, and zero-day attacks.
• Eliminate attack from malicious IPs using IP Intelligence feature.
• Work with the system and application teams for gathering request related information and configuring the application security firewall as per the requirements.
• Update and maintain the security signature lists in application security firewall.
• Day to day support activities.
• Update secure configurations by routinely reviewing vendor sites, bulletins, and notifications for security information.
• Working for implementation of security controls related with ISMS/ISO27001:2013
• Implementation of security controls on the AZURE, GCP, OCI cloud
· Firewall, WAF, and other security implementations on the AZURE, GCP, OCI cloud
Technology Skills Required
• Certifications of Fortinet, PaloAlto, F5 , Azure, Firewall, HP Tipping Point (IPS), FireEye APT, Cisco ASA5500, F5 BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM), BlueCoat– Proxy Server will be required with CCIE Security preferred.
• Hands-on and skills of Fortigate Firewall
• Hands-on and skills of Palo Alto Firewall
• Knowledge and skills of HP Tipping Point (IPS)
• Knowledge and skills of FireEye APT
• Hands-on and skills of Cisco ASA5500
